I’m 99% sure this is fake or that it wasn’t UPS who delivered the package. I can see virtually the whole box in this image and it’s clear that the package is in pretty decent condition and not covered in mystery stains.
They said UPS, not FedEx.
That, and it’s in the side of the door with the deadbolt knob, aka, the inside.
Not to mention its clearly an Amazon package
That means nothing. Amazon packages are delivered by any and all couriers.
UPS handles most of Amazon’s deliveries.
While that was true a number of years ago, I don’t think it is anymore. Amazon has their own shipping network. They’ve been working to replace UPS by shipping the packages themselves. At least that’s how it was last time I worked with them.
And as others have said all my Amazon purchases are delivered directly by Amazon either in a white van or an Amazon branded delivery truck similar to a UPS truck.
Sheesh. There will be no other companies except Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and a few social media companies in 20 years. Amazon is even doing health insurance now.
Nobody asking the important question: if you were trapped inside, how did you take this photo? Schrödinger’s package.
Here’s how it went down:
- Ups leaves package as shown in photo.
- Open door, handle stuck
- Call maintenance
- Maintenance removes package, let’s you out
- Maintenance explains to you why you couldn’t open the door
- Maintenance leaves
- Now, outside your apartment, you put the package into the position as maintenance explained it was
- You take photo and post it on the internet
- You remove the package and enter your apartment
Most levers you can lift up to pull the latch. Especially passage levers like that one.
I think most of these pictures are made up for internet points. This is a pull door. Amazon boxes don’t have incredible structural integrity.

Common sense here checking in: thats now how that works
Where did you buy the fuckin handle? Temu? I challenge you to find a handle from a major legitimate brand that works this way. Smells like a plea for Internet points.
What? Plenty of door handles turn on both sides. If the handle on one side is stuck, you can’t turn the other handle too.
They are not connected. Both sides can open the door but they’re not connected straight through like some stick doorhandle from the fuckin Flintstones
No, I am literally speaking from experience. I have seen way more door handles where both sides are connected than the opposite.
You guys need better building codes, wherever you are
Why do you have handles on the outside of the apartment? Weird design choice.
