Knowing the tone and world of The Batman, and what’s been done elsewhere, I’m guessing something like the Hush, Hugo Strange, Professor Pig… maaaaybe some a little wackier but with a more serious coat of paint on it or Scarface/The Ventriloquist. But I would love to see them do a truly sinister version of a sillier character, like Calendar Man, or Mad Hatter. If they decide to work in meta humans, Clayface could drive a really good villain arc too. Or Azrael.
Almost all of these have been done before in B:tAS, and done well. Whether or not the primary audience was intended to be children, there was some really solid characterization in that show.
