Why do they still selling weapons from israel, buying from them wespons, not imposing a single sanction on the stste of israel, act like it is hamas who is the reason why the hostages are not released, act like it’s hamas who want to destroy israel and not the israel who is the one who is currently trying to destroy palestine?

U.S. will still fuck them - they do what they feel they can get away with, and currently it seems that is recognizing the state of Palestine.

There are European countries that are refusing to grant asylum to trans refugees from the U.S. because they are worried about making an enemy of the U.S. by listing them as unsafe.

It’s about power, when it comes down to it.

What trump did in retaliation for spain imposing an arm embargo? The west major countries are simply imperialist and racists and ideologically aligned with israel

the U.S. immediately undermined the embargo: https://theintercept.com/2024/12/17/israel-weapons-spain-embargo-shipping/

yes, lots of the Western countries are imperialist and racist, and they do ideologically align with Israel to an extent, but Israel has lost a lot of sympathy with the West by engaging in genocide and it is showing, only the U.S. seems to be willing to overlook genocide (which makes sense, as Israel has been described as the U.S.'s attack dog in the Middle East - they’re an extension of the U.S.'s imperialism).

yes, agreed - it shows a fundamental unwillingness to treat the situation with the urgency it deserves … a frequent apathy we find with the West, esp. when it comes to Black and brown lives, or ironically even with their own citizen’s lives
