      Thanks! This photo was taken with a google pixel 9. Edited in gimp using one of the G’mic colour presets. I saw a cool phone-macro setup the other day I’ve been wanting to replicate but I just haven’t had the time to look into it. My other camera is a Canon 2000D when I think to take it with me.

        Ha, I guess I should have known it was a pixel phone. I have a pixel 7 Pro and it takes great photos too. Pseudo macro is top notch on phone cameras now. I really need to dive into post processing.

          Yeah! I’m really impressed with the quality, its probably the reason I don’t use my DSLR as much anymore. I’d give GIMP a try if you haven’t used it, its pretty excellent for editing and free. Here is the macro setup for a smartphone, pretty skookum but an interesting idea if you’re into that sort of thing.

            It’s crazy what modern processing can do with such tiny sensors. Those photos are better than anything I could take on my budget 1.27x macro setup on my mirrorless.
