This masterpiece by William-Adolphe Bouguereau is what first drew me into art. The way he reimagines the Roman god of love and desire through a more delicate, almost feminine and innocent lens feels deeply captivating to me.

Religious people are insane so I’d rather have some warnings on art exhibits than them cutting off dicks from statues and replacing them with leaves.
