Is the United States about to start testing nuclear weapons again? Recent comments by United States President Trump suggested that he is strongly considering testing nuclear warheads in response to real and perceived tests by other nuclear powers.

These comments left many confused about the future of US policy and the state of intelligence on adversary nuclear programs.

So what’s going on? As is often the case, President Trump seems to prize unpredictability.

We don’t know what’s going to happen, but it wouldn’t hurt to review where we’ve been.

He’s entering stages where he is probably hallucinating and making up just about anything to make these zany decisions.

This is why we should never, ever have old people in power. Cap it at 60 and no older.

It’s because removing the filibuster is called the nuclear option.

Yup, global super power in 2025 folks.

I hate to admit that you might be onto something. This is just like him thinking that “asylum” in regards to immigrants means mental institution.

This is unrelated but, that picture in the thumbnail, it has me giggling and I can’t stop. Where do you get your nukes from? Mattel? It’s fitting that Trump is playing with My First Fat Man, since that’s what he gave to underage girls on Epstein’s Island.

Except not even they have been doing it aside from Kim Jong Un. So just that guy. And even him not since 2017.

It’s because he desperately wants to use one. It’s why he wanted to nuke the hurricane. He thinks it’s cool, and wants to be the second president to actually use a nuclear weapon.

It’s quite simple - he just wants to pop off a few nukes because he thinks it’s cool. In dementia don’s brain, what’s the point of being president if you can’t pop off a few nukes for shits and giggles?

He is literally just saying shit and trying to come up with big displays of big-manliness and kaboom power. It’s all he has and it actually works at keeping his base distracted and enthusiastic as he bleeds them dry.

Will we see a return to expensive and internationally condemned above-ground testing? Probably not, but for the length of the news cycle about it, his base will cheer and go “OORAH YAH! BLOW SHIT UP! BLOW ME UP HARDER DADDY!”

Every distraction is a distraction for something else. This is the point, keep everyone going in circles until people just tune out and his administration can gut the federal budget and carry out bags of cash out the back door without the population even caring anymore.

It’s the same reason Bezos and Musk had a dick measuring competition on Twitter by posting pictures of their phallus shaped rockets. Trump is a deeply flawed human, and this announcement is just more of the same.
