      It affects political capital. It will be harder for Trump (or any politician in a similar situation) to get other party members behind his agenda as the association is seen as a liability. Is there some immediate affect? No, but you may see things slowing down unless sentiment changes

    Easily verifiably false. I’m not even that old and I personally remember that Bush Jr. was way more underwater. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_approval_rating

      The actual article qualifies it like this

      The only president who was less popular than Trump at this point in his second term? Richard Nixon, who had an approval rating of -36 points just a few months before he resigned from office.

      We’re still not even through the first year of his second term (though its certainly been a long one)

      Carter, Bush Sr./Jr., Nixon and Truman were all lower it seems.
