However, Boney Nem were formed way back in '95 and started with the sound more like 80s thrash, but shifted to more intense death metal on the 2003 release (this track is a parody of t.A.T.u.). So the OP track is a continuation of that, and is all their own doing. I think the commonality is in large part because Kirill Nemolyaev’s vocals are pretty understandable, instead of full-on growl.
