I think it’s a bit crap that they’re not invited and feel they “would be unwelcome” to comic conventions due to the nature of some of their art being pornographic comedy. They shouldn’t be excluded from interacting with the wider comics community like that. Cons could fairly easily make an 18+ section for such artists - they already do an 18+ section for alcohol service in Australia (eg Supanova con). A quick search shows that a German con has started an 18+ artist section for this goal in 2021, so that’s progress - but I can’t find anything similar in the major US/international comic-con websites. Anyone know more?

This was really eye opening! I knew nothing at all about the creators but the comic is clearly a result of their personalities and process!
