Disney is accusing Google of copyright infringement on a "massive scale" using AI models and services to "commercially exploit and distribute" infringing images and videos.

The same OpenAI that just went ‘Code red’ in a leaked email in response to Googles AI being better than theirs?

Ideally they’ll wear each other out fighting while I carry on happily using Chinese models to make whatever images and videos I want.

For image generation, Z-Image. For image editing, Qwen image edit 2509 (there’s a Z-image editing model coming out Real Soon Now, remains to be seen how it compares). For video, Wan2.2.

I use ComfyUI to run these models locally.
