    Fantastic.

The dad looking at his phone hit home.

Is the original cut worth watching? I saw it had middling reviews but the premise seems novel enough.

The premise is…unique. The film is preposterous, but strangely watchable.

Feels like a good summary of most of the “meh” Shyamalan movies

Was After Earth watchable? My memory seems to recall otherwise.

I wouldn’t call that a “meh” movie, no.

Ok, so that’s just me, then. I remembered not liking it back then, but I can’t even remember why at this point lol.

No, sorry, what I mean is it’s terrible. “Meh”, at least in my mind, means middling. Not terrible, but not actively good either.

I see, that makes a lot more sense now. And I agree, that movie is terrible.

I liked it just fine. Expected/predicted a bigger twist.

Don’t waste your time. It’s possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot. My impression was that they tried to make a horror-comedy for the Gen Z TikTok crowd but forgot or failed to make it either scary or funny.
