I had a roommate who was I guess self conscious of his poop smelling bad, so he bought these Yankee candle sprays…

If your dog smells bad, try to feed better food. A healthy dog doesn’t smell like a wet rag.
I used to think that was totally BS… But then we ended up with a cousin’s super stinky elderly Bassett Hound back like 20 years ago. Switched them off of I think it was Iams to something with actual quality, don’t remember but probably something like Fromm, and it immediately made a difference. Like within days.

what I’ve heard from others is that instead of just using air fresheners there are special enzyme cleaners that break down smelly stains, but obviously those would only work with stains and also I’ve never tried them. but i always keep the idea in the back of my head.
Maybe I’m nose blind but I can’t smell my dog in my house, but she’s on the smaller side, house trained, and non-shedding so maybe that makes a difference?
