A monster storm barreling across swaths of the United States has killed at least 10 people and prompted warnings to stay off the roads, mass flight cancellations and power outages, as freezing conditions persisted into Monday.

and some of yall want to invade canada… tsk tsk. its been minus fourty and fifty degress CELCIUS for weeks, sometimes months, with some respits of course, minus 20 or 30. cars dont start in that kind of weather, plugged in or not. power goes out, services go down.
and thats just in the southern central areas near the border. from my own anecdotal experiences living here.
layers dont mean shit after prolonged exposure. we lose an average of 129 people each year to the cold, sometimes more, sometimes less, but most of them homeless, or unsheltered, and we have a much smaller population. so i can imagine a trench being less than ideal for a prolonged stay, in a very hostile environement
id rather fight in a desert than a tundra, any day. its gonna fuckin BLOW.
do not come here as an enemy, you will freeze to death.
