    This article is more aspirational than rational. Its criticisms of the US are on point, but the Chinamaxxing is comical.

    I mean, as a Canadian, we have a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants and grocery stores for example, but that’s to serve the giant diaspora of Chinese who couldn’t stand China state opression and LEFT.

    People love historic, traditional and contemporary chinese culture. Its the state no one has any use for.

    Absolutely wild…

    Reminds me more of the idiots moving to Russia due to propaganda, and then being shocked when they’re sent to the front lines in Ukraine for the meat grinder.

    America fucking sucks right now, but China is still one of a handful of worse governments.

    It’s like breaking up with an abusive partner, smart move, but then going out with Chris Brown.

    People are just scrambling and desperate for anything different, so they’re not properly evaluating their next landing spot.
