Why not? What’s wrong with learning a new thing?
Take it as less of a “don’t learn it, learning new things is wrong” and more of a “don’t learn it if you want to keep your sanity.”
Ah, I’m working with C++ for…1-2 decades? now and it’s still much more sane than e.g. JavaScript ;-)
