A bug in the YouTube app is causing Shorts to immediately open and start playing, making for a slightly frustrating experience.

I feel like something that’s titled “and how to fix it” should tell you how to fix it.
It doesn’t.
The fix is there in the article. Though it’s not a complete fix.
Yeah, if you watch shorts again it comes back. That’s not really a fix.
