All I want is to take my F5 key and assign it to the media key for volume down. BIOS will not do this. Gnome lets me do it.
When I try to hit F5 the key does nothing in the input field.
And here is the computer info.
You have to type the key sym name into the input field. It is not a raw shortcut editor yet.
Thank you for the reply. What is the key sym for a function key? I have tried F5 for example but that wasn’t right.
Does just
F5work? Try getting/runningwevand see what you get back for inputs. Get events back on kde, not tried it on cosmic.
