BAYTOWN, Texas — The parents of a teen charged with murder are also facing charges in connection with a deadly shooting last month.
They’re each facing a misdemeanor charge of making a firearm accessible to a child.
The shooting happened March 21 at an apartment complex playground on Village Lane near West Baker Road.
According to court documents, their son got into a fight with 14-year-old Anaya Zachary, a classmate of his at Baytown Junior High School, on the bus ride home.
