Algorithms are intended to push specific content. oh especially on Youtube. They should %100 be responsible.
I believe that when it’ results are either chronological or if users can control the algorithm, that’s when they should not be responsible (for the algorithmic serving of results.)
That said, Platforms should still be responsible for moderating hateful content and the like. Enforcing community guidelines, and moderating based on the law, e.u or u.s or other wise.
Yes. Will anything be done about it? Of course not.
Only if the platform controls (in part) about what users see.
Like using an algorithm to increase engagement.
