The article has several people quoted that didn’t know the islands are french. I was attempting to play on that but my attempt clearly didn’t land well.
Nah France and Canada are good neighbours. Only America wants to whine about land.
But Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon isn’t part of the EU, so that argument doesn’t make much sense.
They aren’t really self governing either.
