Kinda politics, kinda culture. Definitely both. Thoughts?

Whilst I’ll never agree with such chants, see the thing is whilst this embassy official might not give two shits about the amount of wanton death being inflicted by the IDF, others do.

    Israeli embassy ‘deeply disturbed’

Oh gosh, I am so sorry, nevermind.

You know what is deeply disturbing? Murdering and starving civilians, including children.

I left America because both major parties form a sinister coalition that is inimical to the interests of the electorate.

    Joke’s on me, I guess.

You could’ve done some research before (presumably) moving to the next best example of such a thing in the world

Yeah, I’m sorry, didn’t mean to come across so snarky to you, I really just wanted to rag on England (specifically)

I left the UK (not from there originally) because I didn’t like it there, but I’d still move there from the USA

I never thought England was a perfect place, but at least there is something resembling a social fabric and it’s possible to live car-free.

All religions want to spread their local hate globally. They claim that’s a morally superior act. It is not.

      Mine says the literal opposite.

I’m still sorting because we filter that out but none of us are worried.

Although I don’t know if mine is a religion. It not only doesn’t ask for belief, it’s actually a ban. You can’t swallow perspetives out of the scope with any belief, whatsoever. Both to know what was actually done and to see what that goes to, for, against, etc. Shit’s complicated. No time for obsessive ignorance.

Sure, you may see me rant some shit that don’t make sense to you. I guarentee it will not be a belief.

Aw did the mean words hurt them? Israel’s actively ordering bombings of children and shootings of starving mothers. It’s like saying “Death to the wehrmact”

While I agree that the chant might be a bit crass, I think it’s his right to say it. He’s saying the army and what it does is shit, and should suffer. I find it very discouraging that such a statement is called antisemitic. The way you frame it is exactly how I see it, it’s death to the abusers, to the killers, the soldiers. It’s about the violence committed by the army.

It would be as if The Andrew Sisters at a gig in 1943 shouted “Death to the wehrmacht”, and people reacted with “well that’s quite anti-german innit?”. No it’s not, it’s anti Wehrmacht, just like his chant has something specifically to do with the IDF, not with Israelis.
