“I thought we covered this yesterday?”
I’ve solved this problem forever. If I like them I’ll just smile and say “better now”. If I don’t, it’s “living the dream”. My approach is flawless in every scenario.
You must also ask them a question. Otherwise you are in violation of ṫ̴̖̬h̴̳̙̏̿e̵͎̎ ̸̬̑ș̴͙̋ơ̷̞ͅç̴͔̃i̵̛̠̹͠a̸̠͘l̴͙̘̇́ ̶̞̈́̚č̸͖̤̀ó̷̦n̶̙̬̚ṫ̷̤̤r̷̻̽̏ȁ̸͓̳̿c̶̳̉t̷̛̩̋
Throw it on the pile I guess, I ain’t asking shit
I was going to suggest “I’ve had better”, but your version is so much more optimistic that I’m retracting mine.
Depends on how you say it.
Usually it’s “Living the dream 😒”
These are the pro moves I’m here to learn. That is so perfect

Do you want to talk? That’s how you decide
“Good, how about you?” End of.
Good, you?
Always remember that human language primarily serves to maintain social bonds, not to exchange information. Giving rote answers to rote questions is perfectly acceptable.
that’s what i say when someone asks how my day’s going
E: noncommittal grunt (my personal preference)
