I have the Outlook Android app installed for work and I noticed 3 or 4 times lately that the “CoPilot” option kept getting re-enabled. So I decided to screen capture the update process today to see if that’s what was triggering it.

This company is just so shady nowadays. I mean, they’ve never exemplified honesty, but come on now, reverting settings that users explicitly change? Get fucked Microsoft.

Can’t tell if its shadiness or incompetence. Had regular monthly windows updates installed today and they still can’t figure out that I want to shut the computer down after finishing updates, not restart it.

Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice.

With actual people that saying goes the other way 'round, but corporations are inherently sociopathic by nature and deserve no benefit of the doubt.

This really shouldn’t be allowed with any app. Same with PlayStation apps when they set tracking to full install of limited upon update.

Hmm. I use Outlook for Android for work. I disabled the copilot button a couple months ago. There have been multiple updates for the app in that time. It hasn’t come back.
