    How does this apply to all of our veterans who experience all of the above because we fought stupid oil wars? And, I really want to stress I’m not saying that to diminish anyone’s struggles. I’m saying it because since 2001 the conservatives have had a veteran fetish. I have experienced all three of those issues because I am a wartime veteran with PTSD who was given no support when I separated. Obama and Biden are the two presidents who actually shifted the overall tone for the VA enough that I’ve been able to get help.

    Fuck man. I’ve already been having a small mental crisis because my chosen career path after university has been obliterated by Trump before I’ve even earned my BS. It’s like every time I stand on my own I get pushed down again

    Fucking great, glad I don’t have proper diagnoses for a lot of my problems. It doesn’t offer me a lot of comfort knowing that I just have to deal with them all in this shithole but at least it helps me avoid being locked up for now

      Nope, setting up to become the world’s new forced labor sweatshop.

      • Kill education, de-skill workers, replace everyone with AI and humanoid robots, deport all the migrant workers

      • raise cost of living until all the only viable ‘jobs’ are investor, landlord, or corporate executive

      • Millions become homeless

      • Homelessness is illegal, so round us all up, throw us in a publicly-traded for-profit prison

      • Rent us back out to pick crops, assemble smartphones, or sew fast fashion shirts for $2/hr.

        Thank you. And, I found a plan for when shit goes down. Make it loud. Live stream with people you trust ready to screen record. Get a note ready to post wherever (the people I know are on Facebook) saying who you are, where you live, what’s happening (don’t include that you’re mentally ill since it’s “criminal” now), and urging everybody to start calling ACLU non-stop. Give somebody close to you contact information for a local civil defense attorney. Contact your local ACLU right now. Keep an eye on the news, and, if you know somebody out of state, have them do the same. We’re looking for things like courts upholding this decision, the local government saying they will follow the law or help. Let your contacts know that if they get a text that reads ‘go’, it’s time to start advocating for you loudly. When they come, barricade the door. There’s also film you can buy for windows to that makes them hard to break that will slow them down. Start recording, and, as calmly as you can do as not to play into their ‘unhinged’ narrative, state your name, your address, that you are an American citizen, federal agents are at your door, and you are exercising your fifth amendment right to not incriminate yourself and your sixth amendment right and will talk to nobody but your lawyer. Write it down. Stress will make you forget. If you don’t automatically say you don’t consent to searches or talk to police like I do, carry your rights on a card. The ACLU should have a good list. Fuck going down quietly.
