Fewer people perceive racial discrimination against Black and Asian Americans compared to 2021. About one third of the public think DEI initiatives reduce discrimination against women, Black, Hispanic, and Asian people. Others think DEI initiatives don’t make a difference or they increase discrimination.

    Are they skeptical or just racist? Skepticism is fine if you’ll put it to empirical testing. Are they doubting the initiatives are providing enough diversity, or are they doubting the proven benefits of diversity in human endeavors?
