2025 ain’t shit compared to 2016.
We really peaked as a society in 2018, but I miss 2020 a lot, it was just such a chill time, empty streets, everybody is WFH but most just chillin’, the political climate was more sane, things looked somewhat hopeful
I’d say 2013 was the last ‘normal’ year. In 2014 the prelude to Brexit and Trump started, and Ukraine started being invaded.
Arguably one could stretch it to 2015 or 2016 pre-Trump still, but the seeds were already sown then.
Yeh but back then it was an amusing side story. No one thought in 2014/2015 a Trump president was even possible. Just a “ha ha look at the buffoon isn’t he crazy.”
