If you lose the shooter in front, you’re also going to lose your income.
I took this for a simplified version, you’d ideally have multiple rows of shooters
Right is best, much better to protect the source of income. If you need to use the sunflower as cover for your pea shooter, you’re just bad at the game. Just keep control of the situation and don’t let it get to that point.
I feel like in pvz1 you can just get by with any strategy cause the game isn’t that hard. In pvz2 though there’s a lot more random bs so it’s better to go with the left strategy.
