I wholeheartedly support giving as little money and data to Apple, Google and the rest of Big Tech. IMO second hand Pixel with GrapheneOS is the best option, so that’s what I have.

I have recently finished Careless People and I think you might like it too. It is a horrifying, but also eye opening read.
TL;DR: Facebook is a horrible company run by horrible people that are not afraid to use the algorithm to destroy our democracies, lives and social fabric
