While I’m totally for the workers being paid great, it’s not really MY job to do so (unless i own the restaurant I’m eating at. And at those the waiters are paid way above average and don’t need tips). Here we tip for excellent service, not the bare minimum to get my food on the table.
If you tip to pay salaries, YOU are the actual asshole that keeps a system alive that is the absolute dogshit in dystopian shitholes with no worker-rights like the US.
Already playing since it came out. Great game! Thanks anyway!
I want all that, minus “challenging” :-) Those times are over for me. There are tooooooo many games I like and I don’t wanna waste it anymore with trying to git-gud for weeks. I got lazy over the years and now seek different stuff.
Sadly the 80s and 90s games i have so fond memories of, I couldn’t bear to play nowadays. It’s like some dream-cars of mine which i would never actually drive because I’m also a nerd and love the tech-gimmicks. And I don’t wanna manually roll down a window. Same with games. Good for you you still love them, that would be awesome :-) Only game I ever actually 100%ed (willingly) was Witcher3. Damn, I’m totally not the gamer i was 3 or 4 decades ago :-)
Call it whatever you want, but i highly welcome every refreshing setting. Like Japan. Or scifi (cyberpunk) or… Everything but the run-of-the-mill high-fantasy orcs and elves.
Why do people play those things. It’s clearly just a test how dumb we all are, and we’re seemingly failing it. People do play it. Things like that should net a total global sales of 3 or 4 and then be taken down a few days after release. But no.
I want 80s gaming back, with modern tech and stuff.
We’re all the same apes, we just speak different languages ☺️ To answer your initial question (in proxy, am no Russian) btw: The russian friends i have do not feel more xenophobia than before. In Russia that is. I’d say here they totally would, considering how hating Russia became the new normal (and also considering how many Ukrainians fled to here)
People are dumb everywhere. You’re not really wondering about that hm? 😉 I wouldn’t migrate because of that. Quite the contrary, the dumdums sort themselves out this way, saves a lot of time.
Idiots do that. Resenting a whole people for the acts of one asswipe. Not every Russian want this war. Not every person loves war. Stupid propaganda shit from both sides.
Oh my…my favourite series and I didn’t get it. <Insert Picard-Facepalm-GIF here>
thanks :-)
We have cities in germany where “5.5%” really doesn’t paint the right picture. I’ve recently been to one where most shops had signs i can’t read and more muslims than i saw in Turkey or elsewhere. Seeing or hearing (a) german was a rare exception. And this is really no exaggeration.
Of course if you take all the rural areas into the equation, where usually very few are, you might see the 5% in toto, but in the cities and especially the cores? No way.
If it earns more than your stinky 9to5, yeah sure it is. Everyone working for someone else is a prostitute. Some just without being naked and doing sex-stuff. But still renting their bodies to others.
I didn’t know that. Thanks for clarification!
I dunno where you work, but that’s a place i would not want to work if i had to work at all. Jeez, i would leave such a place in an instant…
What the heck are C2de and abc1-households?
I’m probably older than your daddy, but… People’s thoughts etc do matter. Sure. Never said they don’t. And if someone is truly hurt by reading the word “shit”, i can only really hope for them that they’ll never run into real problems in this world.
Doesn’t change my point. Even worse. How could anyone be hurt in their feelz by that harmless word? If that already hurts them, this world will be no fun place for them to exist
Hey, I’m “old generation” and i don’t care. We’re not all facebook-loving whatsappers. It’s people who don’t know what real problems are that care about some silly words noone else cares about.
If you would’ve actually read the comment, you would’ve been in a clear advantage.
Where i live and eat, staff is paid fair and tips are given. But, as everywhere in this country, for especially good service and not because the customer is forced to because the employer doesn’t pay wages because the system is broken.
I also said that at my restaurants, waiting staff is paid way above average, which is probably multiple times of your weird country’s mininum. Do you even have a point?
