  • It’s growing and is a good place to contribute to honest discussion, from what I can see; I’d like to take the opportunity to compare such comments as these to something akin to MMORPG discussions.

I don’t know if there’s a complete term for the idea but saying “X online community is dying” in MMORPG communities can fuel their own death spirals as others see it and also begin to believe the game has a shrinking community and therefore will be an empty lot not worthy of your time.

I would advise that if you like what you see here, contribute and help make the communities you like flourish than contribute to a perceived decline.

Bonus points if anyone thinks I’m clever. :S

  • I appreciate the suggestion and it does look fascinating, but one of the biggest reasons I’m stuck on Windows is; put simply, I need my computer to function more plug and play as I use a lot of creative programs to make VR content. I’m not as good at the code side of a lot of Linux but know enough to get by.

I get really frustrated when I have to fix XYZ bug or configuration every time I use my computer when I need my machine to make content. Adding more complexity to my processes is just not good for me.

  • It looks like they dropped the optical finger tracking on the triggers from the index. I wonder if they were causing problems?

The whole design is very reminiscent of the quest but I kinda like it, seems more lightweight instead of the heavy brick that the index is.

The tech looks good to me. Anyone know what the price point is?
