Oh yeah I know that. I meant as a progression sort of thing. There’s little ramp up to new mechanics most of the time. Sometimes there’s tutorials for new mechanics on the boss levels!
But like I said, I still love the game. It’s just something I noticed.
Rhythm Doctor is a good rhythm game. My only real complaint is that it’s short. I would have liked more levels that gradually increased the complexity of newly introduced mechanics. You get a short tutorial and then it’s straight into the frying pan! And some mechanics are only in a single level!
Other than that though… Loved it. Great game. I get the songs stuck in my head a lot!
Video games are more fun than fireworks. Video games with good friends doubly so.
I’m here to laud Kung Fu Hustle as a masterpiece. The knife throwing scene… Peak physical comedy.
City of God has the best child acting of any movie I’ve ever seen. It is so good I sorta suspect they weren’t even acting in some scenes. I have to imagine they straight up pulled in random kids and told them they were going to gun them down in the street and just filmed it.
If I don’t have documentation or defined features, then I can’t do bugs!

They’re efficient at a couple things. None of the things are good things unfortunately.
I remember reading Walden and thinking that even many many years ago this dude failed to be entirely self sufficient and still had to head back to town for random shit. It’d be so much harder nowadays.

It’s absurdist. Like I said, file compression is ubiquitous and the reason for that is because of its undeniable utility. Thinking you can avoid file compression by being rich (by buying more storage space or network throughput) has likely NEVER occurred to anyone. I posted this joke on a comment about someone not understanding file compression at a basic level i.e. not even knowing how to use basic tools to get uncompressed files from compressed ones. The joke is taking this one step further from the perspective of someone so out of touch with the tech, that they’d rather not learn and choose the absolute worst attitude possible.
Yeah, I wasn’t being serious. You don’t have to convince me file compression is ubiquitous, but I appreciate your dedication to educating people. :)
