No wonder I feel at home in the north east, but here I am in Texas where people will gladly vote against their best interrest.

Not even then. Brute force cracking programs don’t rely on the server to indicate if the attempted password is correct.
It doesn’t. Cracking programs don’t use the user login form repeatedly. They use the same algorithm that creates the publicly encoded password to generate encoded passwords and keep going until they have a match. Besides getting the encoded password and salt, everything is done offline.
This just creates a really bad user experience.
Bought copies of books with government documents like the constitution when we realized they were modifying the text on the whitehouse.gov site.
We are getting to a point were we have to start rejecting technology in favor of old standards that aren’t easily manipulated, full of propaganda, and disinformation.

Yeah, I hear the flinstone’s have a gay old time.

Its clear a large number of people don’t know their right from their left.

Preferably saying something stupid like “Folks, let me tell you something — if I’m wrong, if the Republican Party is wrong — and by the way, we’re not — but if we were wrong, then may God strike me down right now! But it’s not gonna happen, because we’re doing what’s right for America. Believe me.”
Love to see how they would try to spin that being his last words.

Too warm for ice that day, so they became the wet bandits

leaving running water on, going after kids, and all…
Then again the crooks in home alone were probably much smarter…
Roll my number, roll my number, roll my number, I’m not afraid…
I call BS. All their nest here look like this because we have grey clay soil. I’ve actually never seen a brown nest. Doesn’t help their credibility that they call them mud bees. They are the red wasps and I’ve known them as mud daubers.

There is things like Patreon, and others like that. Perhaps some kind of addition to the app that makes it easy for advertisers to find you, and you get the added option on blocking advertisers who you don’t agree with or something? That could actually mean cutting out the middle man and making better profits, or if using a middleman there could be several advert companies you can patch into your vids.
Just thinking out loud. There should be a model to make it work and far better than it does now.

The United States has been operating on the “concept” of a government since January.

You would think people could come together and find something else and just let it be an overpriced thing oracle buys. Need a fediverse clone.

Target was showing its true colors long before getting rid of DEI practices. Like at one point they had a gay pride line that really just felt like grift then some people took offense to it and they put it all on clearance and moved it to a remote corner of the store. This was soon after unveiling it, not after it sat there a while. Its no wonder they acted the way they did. They just saw liberals and progressives as a way to profit. People got tired of the grift with no real championship towards better attitudes and practices to minorities and boycotted them hard.

This is why the term “color blind” is used by someone trying to go the right way, but still not getting it, which leads to the ignorance of their racism. In being blind you are blind to the fact that racism still exist and isn’t fixed. Then that leads to incorrect beliefs like “minorities are getting special priveleges and when they don’t have the same quality of life it is because of their own poor behavior” as opposed to acknowledging the systemic racism still in place.
Interesting. I didn’t watch it, but seemed another let’s check the diversity check box by replacing another straight white couple with an Asian-black biracial couple. I didn’t know the original casting for the show.
This NPR article is a pretty interesting take on how the model minority myth gets used to drive a wedge between Black and Asian communities, covering up the real struggles both face. It got me thinking about this Hollywood trope I keep noticing but rarely see anyone talk about—or when they do, it kind of gets shut down. It’s how Black and Asian characters pretty much always end up paired romantically whenever Hollywood wants to show diversity. You see it across the board: Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Invincible, Lovecraft Country, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and a bunch of others. It’s like Hollywood uses these relationships to tick a diversity box but without really challenging the usual racial dynamics or putting White stories at less of a center. What do y’all make of that?
Reminds me of Ghorman in Andor.
