  • I’m ready to get down voted or moderated for this but the moment between the first shot and the car turning out of alignment with the agent is pretty tight.

And while I agree that her death is a tradgey, and I disagree with ICE action in general, this is not the clear moment of injustice that the comments and viral videos would have you believe it to be.

This was an officer, likely on edge, acting in a moment of adrenaline and stupidity.

Much of what I have read would have you believe that he shot her while she was idling at the side of the road.

I am not taking a definite side with ICE.

When you stand up to violence you should expect violence. That is all.

  • Realistically…not until the country over steps and triggers a world war. This stuff is bad, and it parallels the 30s but it’s not AS bad as the 30s. Even with all the cameras of today the riots, protests, and actions don’t come close to back then. Not even the 90s. We’re all being told it’s bad…and…it is… but it’s magnitude isn’t near what it had been in the past. There’s a banality to it all.

When will the nazis get killed? When we’re a few years into a bloody war that has encroachment on US soil. shrug

  • In the 2016 show 11.22.63, Jake Epping, a recently divorced English teacher from Maine discovers that his friend’s diner had a portal that allows him to travel back to 1963.

Jake uses this portal to travel back in time to try to save Kenedy from being assassinated. His friend had done the same, though it was stated in passing that he also used it to by meat on the cheap for his burgers at the diner.

This is to say that the diner owner had it right. Fuck Kennedy, I’m getting those 1963 groceries with the good fats.
