We’re only halfway through the Christmas ham. We’ll probably be done with it by NYE. Then all the ham at the grocery store will be half-price, and we’ll end up buying another one.

I now play my favorite classic games in the browser: dos.zone

And Dune will get my holiday time.

3 macbooks and 4 iphones. And I spent $0 on them. They are all retired devices from work.
Username checks out for sure.

How long did you try it? It took me around 2 weeks to get used to it and it was pretty difficult having to deal with the hunger in the first few days. I just had to power through it. Nowadays I can go up to 18 hours without eating.

Intermittent fasting worked for me. By setting a limit on the number of hours I can only eat, it effectively put me into a calorie deficit. There’s only so much you can eat within several hours.
The great part is I didn’t have to be selective with what I eat. I just needed to quit eating before my daily eating window closed. No need for overly complicated diets.
As much as I was tempted to demand a replacement, I didn’t want to make the person’s (likely) already miserable work day even worse, so I just laughed it off and took it. They’re just trying to make a living.
It almost fell out on me once. I think the ice cream in the machine was still fresh so it was still a bit too soft. The employee caught it in time and flipped it back up before it spilled out.

It wasn’t bad for me because I watched season 1 just a couple of months before season 2 came out. lol

I just sautéed some onions and a ton of garlic in olive oil and some butter, then fried the shrimp in it. Most recipes have you use sherry or some cooking wine on the shrimp, but I forgot. As my own personal touch, I used gochugaru for spiciness and color, aside from paprika. Then I added pepper flakes for even more spice.

That must be super effective at removing hard stuff stuck to plates and utensils.

Yeah, the board definitely needed some veggies and fruits. We’ll do that for NYE.

It’s so good, especially if you like garlic. So easy to make too!
This time around I’m not happy that it’s already Friday, because it means my vacation is already halfway done.
I hate Dort so much. He was specifically targeting Wemby’s shin/ankle after he got hurt early in the game. I’m dreading their next rematch because it’s only a matter of time before he injures someone.
On the other hand, great game from the Spurs. It looks like they’re finally getting past the hump of late-game collapses. Castle and Harper are studs and will feast on any opponent with weak guard defenses.

Ah I haven’t checked in a while. Thanks for correcting me! I need to try using Blorp more often.

I think most of us using 3rd party apps are missing out on a lot of great piefed features that are available on the default UI. I personally use Thunder. I tried Interstellar but unfortunately don’t really like the UI (at least at its current state). Blorp is also supposed to be built with piefed in mind but it lacks even more UI customization (doesn’t even have compact view mode). I think we can just be patient that our apps will catch up eventually. Piefed is being developed so fast that I can understand 3rd party app devs have a hard time keeping up
Thanksgiving and Christmas/NY are pretty much change freeze and no-touch seasons, meaning nothing should change in production to avoid downtime during the busiest shopping days of the year, so pretty much “nah” if someone wants to do something that could potentially cause an issue.
