Leftists were running the party in 2015 and got kneecapped by Starmer’s New Labour. Now Labour has a supermajority, having purged all the leftists MPs but kept their voters.
And it’s still the leftists’ fault for not voting. 398 MPs isn’t enough, somehow. 60 Senators and 235 House Reps wasn’t enough for American liberals in 2009, nor 51S/233H in 2021.

First of all Liberals are literally the one doing it. They’re the ones doing in the UK and the ones who’ve been doing it in America. Liberals are the people who vote for this kind of thing in droves. So that’s just a specious argument on your part completely.

Where do you get off saying that leftists don’t rail against censorship and oppression of protests? On what planet is that a remotely realistic argument?

So chinese people arent leftists? i guess the only true leftists are the ones who live comfortably in western liberal societies that have freedom of expression.
Even if we assume 99% of chinese people arent leftists ( I am so charitable ) thats still a leftist government responsible for more overreach, censorship and authoritarianism than most of the world combined.
Now compare that to you claiming “liberals vote for these policies in droves” I doubt you find a single liberal who campaigned on these censorship policies and won.
