Every fuckin day, bud. It has quite literally never happened without it.

Alright how did Tommy Douglas get the medical capital in Canada to cede capital to us, the working class public, without the use of violence, but rather by being elected, by socialists voting for socialist candidates?

Individuals give up their personal wealth every day for a variety of reasons, but the capitalist class writ large has never once been abolished or ceded power to the working class without explicit or implicit threat of violence.

But even then, a single person using their immense fortune to create a social benefit system is still a threat of violence against capital, and can be used to extract concessions from the capital class. Maybe you’re thinking of violence as physical, but I’m using it to mean any great force capable of compelling action.

Alright so how did we do it in Canada? How did Saskatchewan socialist voting public vote for a socialist and force the medical industry to cede capital to the public without violence?
