We still have a multitude of Democrats in gubernatorial office and large paramilitary police forces which could be deployed to crack down on fascist media, financiers, and militant agitators. A few of them have been quite outspoken in their commitment to defending marginalized people from the national fascist movement (Pritsker in Illinois, Evers in Wisconsin, and Walz in Minnesota).
But if you want the DARVO to stop, there’s got to be some kind of price for it. National media isn’t stepping up. If anything, they’re more than happy to play along and feed on it.
