The “WTF-ness” might come from not living through that era when having friends in the biz meant pet projects no one else would touch might just get greenlit for the rental shelves and quickly ignored as the fad cycle rolled onward… 🤷🏼♂️ This all seems pretty typical of the 90s, NGL.
