I dunno, you’re making communism look really stupid right now by being an asshole.

Like, no solutions, no nothing. Just a bad attitude.

Hey, while we’re pointing out performative nothings, why is it that every communist I’ve met keeps talking about the revolution and then waits for it? Like, my local communist party sets up tables at events but has no information or resources on how to setup a workers or tenants union. Why is that? Don’t you guys have answers?

If your opinion on an entire political philosophy is based on whether or not you personally like someone who espouses it rather than on it’s actual merits then you’re a fucking moron, and you clearly are

I don’t need to have a detailed plan for fixing the world to recognize and acknowledge the many obvious failings of the democrats, nobody owes you that and your insistence that they do is a transparent attempt to deflect completely valid criticisms

“Every communist I’ve met” lol sample size and obvious credibility issues, try harder loser

Why is it that every communists I’ve met act like a child when they can’t think of a counterargument to their silly ideas?

But… You’re doing the exact same thing? It’s pretty hypocritical.

I brought up a legitimate criticism, and you deflected, name called, and then did nothing, ultimately.

Listen, I’m just saying that you should be contributing to your ability, so either you have very little ability to do so, or you are the same as the people you criticize.

Performative implies pretending to be proactive but the end results are inconsequential. Like Cory Booker’s filibuster which achieved minimally. AOC had been touring the country with Bernie Sanders rallying the working class, the base which the Dems abandoned, and even got support from the Republican voters they visited. AOC’s encouragement to mock the Republican politicians is simply drawing more ammunition from her arsenal of actually being engaged.

she’s a politician. I like her. but she is a politician.

        so… not the last person.

you people really need to be more pessimistic and skeptical about the world. we wouldn’t be in this fucking mess if you were.

I like actions that actually get results which for us in the states means a general strike at the bare minimum, which the government would almost certainly respond to with violent force anyway because that’s literally always what happens, so yeah an armed revolution whether we like it or not

no. at this point i think an armed revolution would be completely moronic. (although when compared to the outlook you’d have, if doing nothing, its understandable)

            However.

I do think people should COLLECTIVELY cease to pay taxes. even if 30% of the population just stopped paying federal taxes, the government would be completely crippled. You would be able to force the fascists to the table. You would be able to force them out.

If the governments of blue states supported this idea, this would be even easier.

Armed revolution is asinine in comparison… Anyway. I’m already doing my part.

Was there a point you were trying to make?
