THIS AIN’T NO WALK IN THE PARK.
During the Vietnam War, a recon unit ventures to an isolated jungle valley to uncover the fate of a missing Green Beret platoon. They soon find themselves in a fight for their lives against an unexpected enemy — prehistoric dinosaurs.

So that’s what Jeremy Piven is doing these days.
He’s unhinged in this, in the best way.
This was listed as playing as part of its limited release at a local theater, but, by the time I assembled a handful of friends to go see it, they had pulled it from the schedule due to lack of interest. I’m more than a little butthurt I missed the chance to see Jurassic Platoon on the big screen, but I look forward to the home release.
Primitive War has a considerably higher budget than the movies that I usually post in this community, but I still believe it deserves to be mentioned here. Even if it isn’t a B-movie in the truest definition, it definitely is spiritually. It’s basically a Syfy dino-actioner on steroids.
Can be streamed/rented (?) in North-America through Ama$on.

Nice post! Looks awesome.
Wasn’t that the plot for Skull Island, just with more giant monkeys?
And three dozen other B-movies
An instant classic of great bad movies; wildly uneven tone and pace throughout, plenty of scenery chewing, hilariously bad Russian accents, some truly excellent dinosaur CG and, just when it feels like its dragged on past its welcome, one of the most unhinged, over the top finales I’ve ever seen. Watch it with some drunk and rowdy friends.
