Yes.
This is stupid because of the charge itself, but also because when the jury, pulled from a population which is literally 90% opposed to Trump, acquits this man, it’s going to be a big, very visible reminder for everyone paying attention, of the massive power juries have to oppose tyranny.
I think expecting any such justice from the courts is a folly, they’ll find whatever jury of bootlickers they want to get the rulings they want. Rule of law is dead in the U.S.
Jury nullification is the entire point of a jury.
