Good, it’s so weird that fellow gay or lesbian Republicans are working with a party that would only seek to do us harm and limit our rights!
I disagree, I think good leaders like Mamdani and Sanders should try and win primaries from both parties rather than compete in the first-past-the-post big elections where a major party usually wins.
The best possible world is one in which all political parties support our rights. Its not a mark against one’s character to try to make the worse party less bad.
I hold no ire for gay republicans or socialist democrats. The two party duopoly is an oppressive system. Engaging with that system in some way is largely unavoidable.

and judging from his issues page (https://archive.ph/p6Nlx) which mentions nothing about lgbtq rights but does mention the “leftist indoctrination from trans people”, it’s not surprising.
