Fake Omega 007. My mother went to Turkey, brought this watch back for a friend, the minute hand detached so I fixed it back in place. Long story short, I now own this lol.
As seen from the photos and the AliExpress listing, its far from an Omega.
Its also massive!

As a casual passerby, is there anything that immediately jumps out and makes one realize it’s fake?
As said already, I also don’t recognised the dial. There’s also the finish, the case is rough in parts. The crown on the left does nothing (disconnected from the movement).
When buying a high end watch, always ask to see the movement. If they say “removing the case back will damage the watch (water resistance)” they are lying.
A couple of things I spot:
- The lume pip sticks out, like it’s a large paint blob inside of the metal circle. Omega uses a recessed style of pip. The center spot goes inwards on a real one.
- The numbers on the bezel are flat across the bottom. Both digits are sitting on the same horizontal line, and they shouldn’t be. On a real Seamaster, the two digits are slightly askew. Like, on the 20 marker, if you draw a line below the 2 and another line below the 0, the lines will be askew. The two numbers are rotated slightly so that each one is separately sitting on a tangential line around the dial.
There is also the fact that I don’t recognize this dial design, but I’m not really familiar with every Seamaster dial, so that might just be me.
