Did anyone else here noticed?

No matter the subject or your opinion, there’s always people down voting you.

I don’t care about up/down votes but we can’t deny that’s a way to know the acceptance of your thoughts by the community.

I tried to make some posts absolute neutral, just asking simple things to see if people discuss and interact which each other and me, I just got down voted out of nowhere.

Right now I’m seeing the karma count fighting going up and down, some people just down vote out of nowhere without any possible logic explanation.

Did anyone figure out what’s up with those people?

Discussing on Reddit feels like a fight to know who has the best opinion of all, you just aren’t allowed to think different or they’ll down vote you to hell.

Its worse in pockets (and I mean pockets large enough relatively speaking that you wouldn’t need to be part of specific groups to be there) because there are a lot of culty ingroups who almost seem focused on trying to be as hard to speak to as possible.

Like they are trying to convince you by bashing you with a hammer, spewing pages of rhetoric at you in a bad faith attempt to make their arguments appear to have merit.

Its especially true regarding the types of “”“leftists”“” who are so “”“left”“” that they actively are against any incremental changes that bring about positive change, and are only for fictional masturbatory ideas of instant revolution.

I know that sounds specific to politics, but believe me, it isn’t on lemmy. It creeps everywhere and you’ll see pockets of these people.

I half want to feel like this is astroturfing backed by billionaires to make taxing them more seem less palatable to passerby’s.
