I know a lot of people that vote red because their parents voted red and told them that’s how it is. To me, that’s a clear sign of a lack of education, now please feel free to downvote this as well.
Yes, but there’s more people who just don’t care. In the last Presidential election if all possible votes were counted… no one would have won, because the largest amount of voters chose to just not show up. Part of that is willful disenfranchisement by those who gained by that statistic… but a significant part of that is that they just don’t care. They think the situation would be the exact same no matter who was in charge. At least as far as it concerns them.
That is the biggest issue with our current system, though obviously not the only one.
I wouldn’t say that. Americans are lazy and uneducated. They don’t care what’s happening or they would pull a move from France and fix the issue.
