Hi all,

I was wondering what people think about a piefed instance for SJW? I personally have issues with Lemmy devs and I think their reputation is a massive turnoff for many people looking for alternatives to corporate run social/forum services.

I understand that this instance is community run and resource considerations are probably an issue. No questions about that.

I was more thinking in purely theoretical terms.

    I’ve been considering running it in parallel to a lemmy instance but it comes down to a few things:

    • What do we call it?
    • We would need more Admins to help with the moderation
    • Extra server resources (which we have enough of for now and I don’t have problems getting more of!)

      piefed.itjust.works - IYKYK as the young folks say (I am not that old, late 30s, or perhaps that’s what I tell myself). :)

      With the admin piece, maybe start a thread in Agora looking at interest from long time prominent users?

      Just some thoughts…
