    Experts reject… okay…

    but will the courts reject it?.. and if they do… will they actually sentence him? Meaningfully?.. and what will they do when this administration just decides to ignore it? Will they enforce it? Will the police enforce it?

    Laws are meaningless if there’s no mechanism to punish those who break it. And I’ve yet to see anyone, even 34 felonies, be punished or held to any account…

    Department of Defense Law of War Manual (p. 1075):

    18.3.2.1 Clearly Illegal Orders to Commit Law of War Violations. The requirement to refuse to comply with orders to commit law of war violations applies to orders to perform conduct that is clearly illegal or orders that the subordinate knows, in fact, are illegal. For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.
