I just heard about this show yesterday. I am not sure if it’s a straight up comedy sitcom thing or a dryly humorous drama, though.
I love I Think You Should Leave; I’m not too much into drama or extremely dry humor, tho.
There are a lot of cross references. For example, there’s a scene where he talks loudly on his phone about his dog is loose - it’s worth at least an episode.
The humor is completely Tim Robinson style, very close to ITYSL. Its got more of a story (obviously), a bit like Detroiters in that regard. Very much all over the place within a drama/mystery framework, but thats more of a necessity if that makes sense.
Welp I’m about to check it out rn actually. If I remember, I’ll report back with my opinion. :p
Even if the show is awful, at least you’ll presumably gain somewhere to rest your posterior!
