All the major Christian parties agree that Assisted Dying/Euthanasia is wrong and immoral, and the group already identifies as Christian, so I don’t think it’s any more political than it is with their Christian identity.
Christianity does have a political nature. I think an important aspect about it from my understanding is non-partisanship. The Bible demonstrates we cannot fully rely on earthly institutions, nor identify with them. I think the Christian doctrine on the sanctity of human life is probably one of the most important things really in terms of politics. Even if we see someone behave immorally, they can always repent. Taking a life cannot be undone.
