I’d forgotten there’s a difference there. I will say I found out about all this years ago because a woman I met IRL while seeing some river otters told me about her friend getting absolutely viciously attacked. Sure, the otter probably had some reason they did it, but to this woman’s friend, she went swimming and had to get many stitches because she was close to bleeding out. Then I read up a bit and developed a pretty strong “fuck otters” attitude.
